2021 Formula Drift Rookie of the Year Simen Olsen has been a competitive drifter in both Europe and the United States for the past 6 years, making his Formula Drift debut in 2021 after bypassing the traditional route of competing in the PROSPEC series first.
His success in Europe at comparable Pro events the 4 years prior allowed him to build a car specifically for the U.S. series, carry over sponsorships, set up his team and jump right into the driver’s seat at the American Pro level.
