Benediktas Čirba was the man to beat in the final Oman International Drift Championship qualification. The Lithuanian driver scored 89.3 points. Ahmad Daham was second with 87.3, round 3 win Ali Maksheed got a third place – 85.3.
Due to engine failure, Alan Hynes didn’t make it to the Top 32.
Sometimes no matter how hard you try things just never go to plan. We had to retire from today’s @oidcofficial final round due to engine issues. We really do not know what is wrong as over night it went from perfect to just shit.
Today was the first time l didn’t qualify for a drift event in my 8 years of competitive drifting. A personal record I hope I will beat again in the future.

Ali Maksheed leads the championship with 252 points, and Čirba is 5 points behind. A. Daham moves to 3rd with 209, N. Bertans with 199 and A. Vasiliauskas with 175 still can win the OIDC title.
