Are you ready for the best hitter drift event of the year?
There is not much left until the RabócsiRing opens its doors and hosts TRACKWOOD, one of the most important events of every motorsport season. Don’t you know what it is? Then read on. This year, for the 12th time, Europe’s drifter cream gathers to compete, party, and get excited at the races of a crazy weekend. The Hunakamo and Drifting.hu team work hard to ensure that the organized competitions provide an experience you will remember forever. Every year we are also preparing new programs, and you are not only buying a ticket for a competition, but for a specific festival experience.
This year, for the first time, we are hosting the race of the Polish Drift Open series, where, unlike usual, competitors will not compete in the PRO and PRO2 categories. Instead, we have raised the bar. Pilots will compete in the PRO and MASTERS categories. Kevin Piskolty will sign autographs under the Monster Energy tent from 10:00 on Friday!
On Friday, we can be excited about the training sessions. We get a taste of what we can expect the next day. The situation will become more serious from the afternoon, as we will start the qualification in both categories. The special feature of the championship is that the competitor’s qualification rounds are also run with the pair’s battles. In the evening, DJ Atina, DJ Kicia and DJ Saidorsen take care of the party atmosphere in the Party tent.
Training will occur on Saturday morning, but the competitions will start at noon. As always, you can expect a competition that goes into the night, so the evening atmosphere and the lights provide a captivating experience. Mainly because RabócsiRing’s special kettle-like design allows you to enjoy the entire track. Believe me, the setting sun filtering through the crazy clouds of smoke makes the whole event quite cinematic.
We don’t want to reveal everything for now, so there will be a little excitement for you in the coming weeks. Still, we already have more than 60 registered competitors, including many talents driving in international colours. There will be returning drivers we have seen on the asphalt strip of the RabócsiRing for a long time, and you can expect young titans as well.
