Bulgarian pilot Petyo Radichev was competing in his third race of this season—this time at the National Arena of Bucharest, the season opener of the RoDrift championship. Although the driver of the unique LS-swapped Mercedes SL R230 qualified 3rd, he lost his first battle during the Top 16 due to minor technical issues.
