Hunakamo Drifting Pro Series and drift.news are delighted to announce a strategic partnership

Hunakamo Sport, the owner and organiser of the Hunakamo Drifting Pro Series (including the worldwide-known TrackWood Drift Festival), and drift.news are proud to present a pioneering collaboration from the 2024 drifting season.

As part of the agreement, drift.news will cover the entire Hunakamo Drifting Pro Series in 2024. From pre-event articles to detailed race reviews and statistics, drift.news will inform the international drifting audience about every remarkable moment encompassing the Drifting Pro Series. The aim is to create a new platform for both drift fans and drift pilots to gain information, contribute to the growth of social media presence and, last but not least, introduce an improved system of statistics and database, including all the crucial items of competitive drifting like driver profiles or current rankings.

CEO of Hunakamo Sport, Szabolcs Béres, also expressed his enthusiasm for the emerging partnership: “The importance of such elements as high-quality social media content and permanent flow of information online are inevitable in today’s drifting world. Thus, we expect to take the fans’ communication and entertainment to the next level” – he said.

The promising collaboration formed by Hunakamo Sport and drift.news will get started this Wednesday, 01.05.2024. at the season opener race of the Drifting Pro Series and Race The Streets Championship, taking place at the famous Slovakia Ring circuit with drivers from 6 different countries. The captivating contest for the title will go on at the cauldron of Máriapócs on 1st June. Thanks to the most talented local pilots supplemented with the FIA Central European Zone and Czech Drift Series driver’s grid, the audience of RabócsiRing race track will witness the fierce clash of the best Central European drifters in the frame of an exhilarating night competition. 12-13 July is the extraordinary date of the most anticipated Hungarian drifting festival in the area: called TrackWood. To enhance the excitement, the 20-year-old Drift Kings International Series will not be missing from the region’s biggest night drift competition. As a traditional way to finish the Drifting Pro series season, contenders will once again encounter the lineup of the Czech Drift Series at the iconic Automotodrom Brno on 18th-20th October. 

On the thrilling road to crown the 2024 champion, drift.news will be a crucial partner of Hunakamo to serve participants and fans of the Hunakamo Drifting Pro Series during the season.
